Your home is full of natural home health remedies. Everything that mother nature provides is "natural." Unfortunately, often as the natural substance enters a human hand, it’s altered and processed. After many processes, the substance is actually a dead substance, as there is no more Prana, the life force, left.
Lack of energy, exhaustion, depression and many other today’s common health problems, are often caused by large consumption of these dead substances. In order to rejuvenate your body & mind, you need to start consuming more live substances, that are full of Prana.

You are the one who can change the factors that are not working for you, that are not contributing to your health. The first step is changing bad habits that you have created and that don’t contribute to your health.
From holistic medicine perspective, only the substances that are whole, natural, and by fixing one problem don’t contribute to another, should be consumed on daily basis. If you are traveling and the only food available is McDonalds, eat it. Bless your food and enjoy it. If you are eating it and feeling guilty about it or are thinking about all the bad stuff they put into this, you are creating more harm in your body. I know this is an extreme example, but I think you got my point.
So, start being more conscious about your environment, your food, your thoughts and everything else that is part of your life and home. Remember, holistic medicine works with the “whole” and that means the whole of you, the whole that surrounds you, and the whole that you are part of.
The word remedy, according to http://www.merriam-webster.com, comes from Anglo-French, from Latin remedium, from re- + mederi to heal and is either:
• a medicine, application, or treatment that relieves or cures a disease
• something that corrects or counteracts
The second definition of the word remedy is particularly important in holistic medicine, because we often "remedy with the opposite." When you have too much heat, you try to cool down, when you have too much heavy quality, you balance with light, etc. This concept is very important to remember for understanding how natural health remedies work and how you can play with them and start creating your own home health remedies.
